As Director, Initiatives, Craig Jooste is responsible for creating and launching key franchise-wide systems and programs, including loss prevention, health and safety, regulatory, and environment.

Since joining 1800-GOT-JUNK? in 2005 as Fleet and Compliance Manager, Craig has held a number of increasingly senior roles, including Senior Manager, Corporate Operations. Most recently, as Director, Environmental and Corporate Operations, he successfully built and launched an environmental program that gave 1-800-GOT-JUNK? the ability to audit junk waste streams and junk mix, and gather more accurate recycling data.

Before coming onboard with 1800-GOT-JUNK?, Craig spent almost five years at Canadian Springs Water Company as Distribution Manager and Western Canadian Fleet Manager. Previous to that, he worked in the airline industry for five years, travelling to Europe, Africa, Asia and most of the South Pacific.Originally from South Africa, Craig moved to Canada in 1988. He is an avid golfer and enjoys spending time in British Columbia’s great outdoors with his wife, Kristen, and dog, Buddy.
