Tania Venn - Director, Public Relations

Tania Venn leads the 1-800-GOT-JUNK? PR team, which is responsible for raising brand awareness through regional and national public relations, including community and corporate events, media stories, and social media

Tania joined 1-800-GOT-JUNK? as a PR Manager in 2005 and was promoted to Senior PR Manager in 2007. Under her leadership, the PR team has celebrated many successes, including: The Dr. Phil Show, Huffington Post, Wall Street Journal, Dr. Oz, Rachael Ray, The New York Times, USA Today, and the hit reality series, Hoarders, on the A&E Network.

In the past year Tania’s team has built out the company’s social media with a corporate Facebook page, Twitter, and blog entitled “Everybody’s Got Junk.”

Tania’s previous experience includes several years as a broadcast news journalist, where she worked as a reporter and newscaster for several BC radio stations. Tania also spent time as a Marketing Manager, leading major events at the Chapters chain of bookstores and headed Sales and Marketing at a boutique customer appreciation company.

In her free time, Tania can be found in the company of her two teenaged children, preferably on a mountain skiing or hiking.
