Hi, I’m Justin King, the owner of 1800-GOT-JUNK? rubbish removal in Brisbane. 1800-GOT-JUNK? has been operating in Sydney for three years and in the Gold Coast for almost a year. In the last two months we've rolled out our first fleet of 1800-GOT-JUNK? trucks around Brisbane and our junk removal operation covers the area from Nudgee on the east coast right down to Ipswich in the southwest.
After 15 years in the corporate world working in various Sales and Marketing roles in the Aviation industry, I decided I wanted a career change. Having managed my own business in the past, I knew it was time to get back into business for myself again. After many months of research, I came across 1800-GOT-JUNK?. This rubbish hauling business has been a huge success in Canada and North America and I knew that this service was just what Brisbane residents and businesses needed.
The 1800-GOT-JUNK? brand is all about providing customer service excellence, value for money and having fun, so I knew that this was a company that I wanted to be a part of. At 1800-GOT-JUNK? we love giving our customers their space back and wowing every one of them in the process! You might have seen our Truck Team crew and our shiny, blue rubbish removal trucks cheering up the morning and afternoon commuters with our famous ""Blue Wig Waves"" down on Kingsford Smith Drive, Sandgate Road, Ipswich Road, Caxton Street around Suncorp Stadium, and Vulture Street down by the Gabba. "It was 1.30pm on a Saturday afternoon when I noticed a 1800-GOT-JUNK? truck pull-up across the road from my office. My assistant Christine and I had just finished creating a pile of old office junk that needed to be removed before our upcoming office move. We had considered getting a small skip bin to get rid of it but the thought of lugging all those items down two flights of stairs was less than appealing. So I waved down the truck and asked the driver if they removed unwanted office rubbish. He confirmed that they did and to my surprise he offered to come in right then and have a look at the items we wanted to have removed. He gave me a quote (which was very reasonable) and then to my amazement he offered to do the job there and then!! Within 45 minutes the pile of junk was gone and I had a clutter-free office again.
